The band's debut EP, Chemistry, is pop with a razor's edge of rock and an aftershave of punk. Duggan, who penned and produced all five songs on the EP, crafted a contemporary sound for this collection of in-your-face songs.
PLAID BRIXX was formed in early 2013 by the band's lead singer Chris Duggan, who has led bands and written music since he was ten.
Duggan has a degree from NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and graduated with an amazing portfolio of songs, as well as a solid understanding of music production and engineering. In addition, living in New York exposed him to a lot of diverse music and fueled his passion for songwriting. He worked and studied with well-known industry figures and gained performance experience at NYC venues such as Arlene's Grocery, Bowery Electric and Tammany Hall.
PLAID BRIXX is currently booking shows regionally and nationally.
