At eleven years old L. Hill lost three young family members in a tragic accident; it influenced his first song he ever wrote at twelve years old. It was an R&B song to be exact. The neighborhood named Christian Hill a.k.a. (The Hill) or (Hillside) where him and childhood friends once played became infested throughout the crack epidemic. That's when he partook in the activities of the streets, and transitioned those R&B lyrics that he loved so much into raps. The music always was therapeutic through it all. Some of his street constituents were murdered, and most were incarcerated. L. Hill encountered that same fate of incarceration; doing a 10 year stint for drug and weapon possession, but while incarcerated continued to write lyrics to take his mind to serene place in his thoughts. After released L. Hill was introduced to the owner of Explorer Entertainment through a mutual friend, and that's when the first solo album "Pain Music" was born; being released in digital stores like Itunes, Amazon, and etc... "Me & Mine Pt. III: No Facade" the mixtape followed; available on Datpiff.com with over a 100,000 views to date. Through the duration of focusing on his next project; after one night of hanging out with associates L. Hill was caught in a drive - by shooting receiving one gunshot wound to the chest that grazed him by an unknown shooter or shooters. He continues to keep God in his life, stays positive, and produces quality music releasing his first single "Figure 8" off of his new album "We Suffered For This: Me & Mine". I can think of many words to describe L. Hill, but one word sums it up; resilient! "Figure 8" available on Itunes, Amazon, Googleplay, etc... https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/figure-8-single/id916216257
