October 21st 1982 in Brooklyn, NY came the birth of Michael Jason Lapinski. Raised in Queens for most of his early life. Mike grew up in a lifestyle most matured emcees might be familiar with. From never meeting his father, who overdosed on crack/cocaine, to being raised by a raging alcoholic child abuser. Mike found it easy to cope thru the use of his first Casio keyboard and his dual cassette tape boombox thru the sounds of Motown, Elvis, Ray Charles and other various artist from various genres of music. Escaping the near inevitable path of the adoption agency and child services, Mike and his sister were taken in by their grandparents who raised them till their adult lives. Becoming more familiar with Hip Hops Rap music, Mike began to write poetry and sonnets in 5th grade which landed him several first place prizes, certificates, and awards that later earned him a small spot on a page of poems in an adult poetry book (Title not found). The content of the very short poem forced the school to warn Mikes grandparents of his suspected Suicidal Tendencies and he was forced to receive counseling and Theraphy once a week in school and once a week with his grandparents thru a second party therapist lasting 5 years. As he reached his H.S. years Mike and a few friends began writing lyrics over Mainstream instrumentals but kept most of his music to close friends and his inner circle. At around 21 Mike broke out of his stereotypical shell and pursued his art into a skill that may one day provide some financial stability. He began in the basement as Subkonshus, the pot smoking tripped out obscure emcee with a political twist till he grew into 11:23PM aka E11EVEN, the Christian emcee with a political twist that shares his struggles and creates using his soul, blood, sweat, and tears. Today E11EVEN is now an independent career emcee / audio engineer and continues to share his faith thru the love of music.
