On Being Human is an alternative rock band from Orange County, California. Formed by frontman Travis "Atlas" Baker and backed by Greg Lesondak (guitar), Greg Johnson (guitar), Beau Trembly (bass) and Gustin Flaig (drums). In 2009, the band spent 7 months in Hamburg, Germany writing their debut album entitled "To Light the Coals of Hearts". Hot Topic took notice and selected On Being Human as their "Unsigned Band of the Month”.
After the release of their debut album, the band began building upon their electronic and orchestral influences, while maintaining their rock sound, and released "eVe", their self-produced EP, tracked partially in Alchemy Studios in Murrieta, CA and in their own home studio. The EP also featured a 24-piece string section for their single "Chasing the Sun", which was featured in the film "Lockdown: Red Moon Escape", a film of which was scored entirely with music created by the band. The film debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, along with 3 other films that the band composed music for, in Doha, Qatar. Not only has the band composed music featured in films (The Package Vol. 1, Bidoon), but they've also composed for television shows (Discovery, History, Travel Channel) and video games for the Wii and Xbox360 (Rocket Racing League, Alien Monster Bowling League, Top Hand Rodeo Tour), as well as several other international documentaries, trailers and commercials. With the release of "eVe", On Being Human recognized with several awards including Band of the Month from Musician's Friend's, Infectious Magazine's and IE Weekly and Inland Empire Magazine as well as being voted as CBS's Best of Local Band, and Temecula Valley Music Awards Best Rock Band.
In 2014, On Being Human played main stage at MAGfest in Washington D.C and began working on their 2nd full length LP, titled "In Search of Adam" with diamond record selling producer, Arnold Lanni (Simple Plan, Our Lady Peace).
