Coming from a place where it’s little opportunity and more
oppression than progress, you have to have a large heart and a positive
state of mind to stay above the water. With that in mind, PoBlakk
of DA GREEZYBOYZ’’ took all the negative attention around him
and transformed it into a positive movement.
DA GREEZYBOYZ’’ started in Bennettsville, South Carolina in
2002. After 8 yrs of ups and downs with the rap group, including the
death of the co-founding group member Young Blizz in 2010 , It was
on PoBlakk to keep the movement moving and fresh with the help
of URR Records. PoBlakk has been able to help evolve the ordinary
artist to the look of the next hot creative superstars in hip hop.
He has collaborated with Atl’s super producer Zaytoven, NY
hip hop legend Keith Murray and several popular Indie artists
and producers on several mix tape projects, events and promo’s.
PoBlakk has done 150 shows and counting and has over 15,000 mix
tapes moving in the streets, making him “One of the most successful
Indie artists in the Southeastern United States.” His freshman album
“WORK” the album is fresh with no major features or producers.
It captures the very essence of Indie hip hop .The single “Beggin Me
to Beat” produced by Bleu Jones, will make the “Strip Club Get Turnt
Up”. “Forgive Me” ft. Dred, produced by Pay a Duez Ent., pleads
for forgiveness from God, while songs like “I Do This” produced by
Vinny P, cover the harsh reality of America’s streets. The single “Put
It On Da Map” is the official Carolina anthem! Check out more of
